CEM IV Building

Lima, Peru.

Year: 2018
Client: Nuevo Mundo
Photographs: Renzo Rebagliati

Lighting designer: Claudia Paz
Partners: Forlight Lighting, Acuity Brands, Duralamp Lledó

CEM IV is an office building located in the Miraflores district of Lima, certified LEED, reflecting its commitment to sustainability and energy efficiency. This project presented a specific technical challenge: the need to install continuous luminaires on the ceiling of the outdoor area, which had to withstand the humidity characteristic of Lima's climate while providing sufficient lighting power —ruling out the use of LED strips.

Finding a solution was not easy, as the market offered limited options that met these specific requirements. However, in collaboration with Lledó, we implemented a solution that met the technical demands and aligned with the design expectations, achieving a functional and aesthetically flawless result.
