Luminicos was born in 2009, founded by Carlos Molina and a team of visionaries, as an innovative solution to a common problem: the constant replacement of halogen lamps in condominiums and buildings, which resulted in continuous complaints from residents. This challenge led to the importation of the first LED lamps under the brand Delight, marking the beginning of a new era in lighting solutions.

By 2012, the pursuit of quality and innovation attracted Lledó Iluminación, a leading Spanish company in luminaire manufacturing, resulting in the birth of Lledó Perú in partnership with Delight. This collaboration significantly expanded our product portfolio, distributing products manufactured by Lledó and incorporating the Bega brand for outdoor lighting, positioning us as leaders in the lighting project market in Peru.

With the evolution of the industry, we evolved as well. In 2017, in response to the need to diversify our portfolio, we partnered with Targetti, enabling us to undertake even more ambitious projects. Following the challenges faced by Lledó in Spain after the pandemic, the Peruvian partners acquired Lledó's stake, transitioning to what is now known as Luminicos. This change marked the continuation of our journey, maintaining our leadership in the lighting project market for over a decade.

Looking towards the future, Luminicos is gearing up for international expansion, starting with our first overseas office in the city of Miami and launching a new business unit focused on Dynamic/Interactive Facades, signaling our commitment to innovation and establishing a global presence.
