In the heart of an architectural piece lies a beacon of innovation: the custom luminous cube at the lobby of Primera Visión. The Idea
The 12,000 square meters of Primera Visión were destined to be adorned with metallic ceilings and luminaires. During the design brainstorming sessions, Gabriel Allende envisioned an illuminated cube at the lobby's heart, sparking the inception of a custom product that would pose a technical and logistical challenge.
Folio's innovative technology was pivotal in this project: It allowed for vast surfaces of light with minimal thickness and exceptional uniformity, a key to materialize Allende's vision. Unlike traditional LED strips that could result in uneven illumination, Folio's technology promised a seamless glow across the cube's expanse, ensuring the corners remained as luminous as its center.
Overcoming Challenges
Transporting the massive pieces from Italy posed a significant logistical challenge, matched only by the precision required in their assembly to maintain alignment and continuity with the curtain wall. Customization was crucial, not just in dimensions but in the power of each piece and the strategic laser incisions within the product.
These innovations, based on Folio's patented laser engraving and mathematical algorithms, guaranteed uniform light distribution with a variance tolerance of up to 3%, imperceptible to the human eye.

Collaborating closely with the contractor and under our technical team's supervision, the installation was flawless and attained the expected result.
