Arequipa Peru Temple - Church of Jesus Christ

The Arequipa Temple is the third temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Peru, covering an area of 26,909 square feet. In this lighting project, led by Verónica Gonzales from Luminicos, we faced the challenge of illuminating the window in the dome that crowns the building. The internal metal structure could cause unwanted shadows, so we proposed a customized solution with our partner Folio, a luminaire shaped like a window with a special structure that fits perfectly and creates the illusion of a room with extremely uniform light, resulting in an impeccable and mysterious visual effect.
