Plaza Vea Puruchuco is a supermarket located in the Ate district of Lima, covering 2,756,000 square feet. It is recognized as the largest shopping center in the world to obtain the EDGE certification (Excellence in Design for Greater Efficiencies) for its sustainable design.
As the official supplier for Supermercados Peruanos, Luminicos collaborated with lighting designer Pamela Phang to design metal ceilings, wooden suspended ceilings, and custom lighting fixtures for this project. The suspended fixtures were painted in the client’s corporate color, adding a personalized touch to the overall design. The result is a perfect integration between the ceiling design and the lighting, achieving a modern and cohesive aesthetic.
