The Talara Refinery is the most important crude oil refining complex in Peru, operational since 1917 and located in the district of Pariñas, Piura. As part of the Talara Refinery Modernization Project (PMRT), Luminicos contributed to the design, lighting engineering, supply, and commissioning of the lighting systems.
This project posed a significant challenge due to the highly hazardous areas that required illumination, necessitating the use of explosion-proof and corrosion-resistant luminaires. A high level of technical expertise was essential to specify the correct products, with a primary focus on luminaires from Acuity Brands and 3F Filippi.
